1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of horse.fun ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with the website at horse.fun (the "Website"). The Website is a frontend interface to a permissionless protocol on the Solana blockchain. Most activity happens directly on-chain, outside our systems and control. This Policy covers only the limited information handled by the Website itself.

2. Information We Handle

• Public blockchain data. Your wallet address, entries, winnings, and other transaction data are recorded on the public Solana blockchain. This data is public by design, permanent, and not controlled by us — we merely read and display it.
• Wallet and login data. Wallet connection and optional login (email or social account) are handled by our embedded-wallet provider, Privy, under its own privacy policy. We receive from Privy only the identifiers needed to operate the Website (such as a user ID and your wallet address) — we do not receive or store your private keys.
• Profile data you choose to provide. An optional username and avatar.
• Waitlist data. If you join the waitlist and connect an X (Twitter) account, we store your handle and account identifier for verification purposes.
• Chat messages. Messages you post in the chat are visible to other users and stored to operate the chat. Do not share personal information in chat.
• Technical data. Like virtually every website, our infrastructure providers process IP addresses and standard request logs to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.

3. What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
• We use privacy-preserving product analytics (page views and in-app actions, tied to a pseudonymous account identifier) to understand how the Website is used. These analytics set no cookies and store nothing on your device, and are never used for advertising.
• For authenticated users only, interface sessions may be recorded to diagnose issues and improve the product. All typed input is masked in these recordings, and they are never used for advertising. Anonymous visitors are not recorded.
• We use only cookies and local storage strictly necessary for the Website to function (such as your login session and interface preferences). For this reason no cookie consent banner is required.
• We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above solely to operate the Website: displaying your activity and balances, providing login and profiles, running the chat, the waitlist and the referral program, securing the service against abuse, and complying with legal obligations where applicable.

5. Service Providers

We rely on third-party providers to run the Website, which process data on our behalf or under their own policies: Privy (wallet and login infrastructure), our hosting and database providers, Solana RPC providers, and blockchain indexing services. Where you interact with third-party services directly (for example your own wallet, or X for the waitlist), their privacy policies apply.

6. Blockchain Data Cannot Be Deleted

Data recorded on the Solana blockchain is public and immutable. We have no ability to modify or erase it. Rights that may exist under applicable law (such as deletion) therefore cannot apply to on-chain data, and requests concerning it cannot be fulfilled by us or anyone else.

7. Retention

We keep the limited off-chain data described above for as long as needed to operate the Website, and thereafter only as required for legitimate operational or legal purposes.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information (such as access, correction, or deletion of off-chain data). You can exercise any rights available to you under applicable law by contacting us through our official channels below; we will handle requests as required by applicable law.

9. International Processing

Our providers may process data in various countries. By using the Website you acknowledge that your information may be processed wherever our providers operate.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy at any time by posting the revised version on the Website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance.
